Jacob picked up his gear as he left his room at the lodge at the base camp of the peak. From this point onwards, all he will see is steep cliffs and frozen ground. His breath now formed a white mist.
This is his mountain that he want to conquer. His guide went ahead of him and set markers for him to follow as they began their ascend towards the summit. Every step was getting tougher for Jacob as the air grew thinner, but Jacob didn't want to give up. He knew he was not far from the summit and gave it his all and went over the summit. The view that await him was beyond words description. To him, it was like standing in heaven, a view that he will never forget.
And when back at the comfort of his home, Jacob was thinking, did he ever regret going for this climbing trip, he only had one answer - Never!
