Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was a great winter day, with plenty of sun and the temperature was finally back below freezing. Le Chat found her usual spot on the deck, and just stayed there soaking up the sun for hours. Cat life, the best!
We also wanted to enjoy this great day, but in a more active way, with an extra long walk with Kaia. We started behind the front yard, because I knew that just like the day before, Le Chat would join us there.
And indeed, a minute later, here comes Le Chat, trying to be stealthy.
Kaia was already gone in the little forest doing her thing.
Le Chat probably thought she was still a young kitten, and had lots of fun climbing in trees. Like I said, cat life!
But like I mentioned, I wanted a more active afternoon, so I called Kaia back, so we could go to our usual forest next. She reluctantly came back, and we left Le Chat go back to her sleeping place.
We quickly arrived at the forest, and in spite of a few other people we met there, Kaia could go off-leash.
In spite of the chillier temperature, it really didn't feel like winter, no snow, apparent moss on fallen trees, it's already like Spring and that sucks!
As we usually do when we have lots of time, we went all the way to the teepees. Kaia always needs to check them all out very thoroughly.
We actually went pretty much everywhere, visiting all trails. Kaia even improvised an obstacle course, just for fun.
After that, it was time for our loop outside the forest for Cubiverse vaults. But this time, we went much further. It was only a couple more vaults, but it was really just an excuse for additional miles, and good views on the sunset.
This one was my favorite, perfect timing, just before the sun started disappearing behind the trees.
Of course, it eventually did disappear, and by the time we reached near the golf course, it was only the residual colors in the sky.
We actually still had a little daylight to walk some more in the neighborhood before finally get home. It's weird to see days are already that much longer. I'm more of a night owl, so that's not what I prefer. But when it's sunny like that, it's nice too!
