Matthew 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
I appreciate the sincerity and the truthfulness in explaining the scriptures to us which I observe through the doctrinal teachings by Bro Eli Soriano in the MCGI Mass Indoctrination. It is a blessing to the body of Christ to have such a teacher who fearlessly tells us the truth that we are supposed to know in trying to understand the word of God.
The Evil Done By False Teachers
2 Peter 2:1 (KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
There have been many falsehoods spread in the church through various wrong teachings some of which promote sin among the brethren. Many false teachers have come into the church these days which many of us have not noticed. Instead, we have fallen victims to their deceitful interpretation of the Bible. These teachers interpret the scriptures to suit their selfish gain. They are gathering people to themselves not to God. So, they refuse to tell them the truth because they prefer to use them for enriching their purse instead of teaching them the truth that will save their souls.
Avoiding Sin
1 John 5:16-17 (KJV) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
As I listened and hear Bro Eli Soriano emphasized that we must avoid sin in order to please God, I know that he is determined to teach the truth.
We cannot live in sin and expect God to be happy with us. If we want to follow God truthful, we must run away from sin
Bro Eli Soriano told us about the unpardonable sin. This should be a great warning to those who want to make it to heaven. Do not offer your body as an instrument of sin instead live holy and in obedience to the commandments of God.
