Hello Hivers, My Monochrome Photo of the day. The Classic Banister.
We often had used the handrail at some point in our lives, Oh definitely... We all have! Isn't it.
It's old Victorian Classic design is absolutely captivating. The amount of effort put in to create it, with all that twisting and turning of metal/iron rods, plates, strips into such a beautiful railing is truly commendable piece of work by such skilled artisans. They were very creative workers then. Created several masterpieces, that withstood the testament of time and are still admired by plenty.
Even during our childhood days, many of us, had played by sliding down on these handrails... and parents telling us... "Don't you do that ever again"... "You might fall down or hurt yourself"... but... but... but... Kids are kids.. they won't listen! Right! & they are at it again!!!
Such naughty... we all have been at some point of our lives... haven't we! Of course! Don't Deny! :)
Many of us have sat down on these staircases and played with our childhood friends, there are definitely loads of memories... associated with them.
Quite wonderfully, when we visit at any such place, we are so quick to go back into the past and amazingly remember all that! Yeahhh!!!
Ohhh.. What a fun it was! :) Then we all grow up to hold them and walk down the staircase... slowly, carefully... What a life!!!!
