Today I want to go over an important aspect of the Hive blockchain which is the curation rewards. If you are new to Hive you might not know that the the reward pool, or part of the inflation is being distributed to authors and curator. During the years it has been a fight for the percentage up to today's standard which is 50/50 split between both.
The author is being rewarded for writing content on the blockchain and the curator is being rewarded for finding it, upvoting and sharing it with its follower, the curator has an incentive to upvote post before they become popular as he will get a bigger share of the reward. Another important factor is your vote weight which is based on you staked Hive rewards (or second layer tokens for some of them).
Because Hive is a Delegated proof of stake blockchain, it makes sense that your vote is proportional to your stake, on Hive, if you have Hive Power you are truly a stakeholder.

I would love to see a word counter integrated in the publish/draft interface, maybe not real time but a button we could click to have it.
