The Sierra de Tramontana mountain range stretches across the entire western part of the island of Mallorca. It is dotted with small villages that were originally peasant villages and are nowadays the second homes of the inhabitants of Palma, the island's capital, and also of foreigners with high purchasing power. They are perfectly preserved and their narrow alleys are lined with decorative vegetation, which gives the place a homely and cosy atmosphere. The day I took the picture was grey and rainy, making the rural atmosphere somewhat mystical.
This picture of a street in the tiny village of Valldemossa is my contribution to the contest mentioned in the title.

La Sierra de Tramontana se extiende por toda la parte oeste de la isla de Mallorca. Está salpicada de pequeños pueblos que en su origen eran pueblos campesinos y que en la actualidad son las segundas residencias de los habitantes de Palma, la capital de isla y también por extranjeros de alto poder adquisitivo. Están conservados perfectamente y sus estrechas callejuelas están jalonadas de plantas decorativas, lo que imprime al lugar un ambiente casero y acogedor. El día que tomé la foto era gris y lluvioso, siendo el ambiente rural un tanto místico.
