I remember the day I resigned from my job as a sales representative. I was both excited and a little bit sad. I have been at the work for almost three years and I had built strong relationships with my colleagues. However, I had received an offer for a new job that I felt was a perfect opportunity for me.

Then I didn't know that to resign was going to he stressful because I had to draft a resignation letter,i was trying to find the right words to express my gratitude while also explaining my decision. When the time came for me to hand over the letter to my employer, I was nervous but at the same time I had to summon courage, then I walked into her office and handed her the letter also explaining why I wanted to resign. Initially, she did not want to accept the letter but at the end she accepted it and congratulated me for the noe found opportunity.
Despite her kind words, the next few weeks were awkward. My colleagues were surprised and had mixed reactions. Some were happy for me, while others seemed a bit distant. I think they were worried about how my departure would affect my colleagues. There were moments when I doubted my decision, especially when I saw the work increase for my colleagues.
On my last day at work, a small farewell party was organized for me. It was touching, and I realized how much I would miss everyone. They gave me a card signed by the whole team and a small gift. I felt appreciated and was glad I had the chance to say goodbye properly.
Starting the new job was exciting but it also had it challenges,as I had to adjust to the new environment and learn things around for effective operation. As time went on, I grew more comfortable and began to see the benefits of my decision. The new role offered more opportunities for growth and development, and I felt my skills were being better utilized.
