This morning I noticed something flashing on the bushes in my yard... and I was tempted to find out what it was. As I approached, I saw nothing there. I became more curious until I decided not to move for a while. My eyes did not move in other directions, and I waited patiently while whistling.
Not long after that, what I had been waiting for finally appeared. A two-striped jumping spider moved carefully around the leaves. The lines on its face imitated the mustache of an ancient nobleman; it looked dashing with that.
Those jaws are so scary! It reminded me of the Goddess Kali, who is always depicted with a long, protruding tongue. Regardless of how frightening it appeared, it was merely a cute jumping spider.
