    Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Thursday 🎉,and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. Hopefully you are enjoying or enjoyed your day. I've had just another ordinary day stepping it out and as bedtime beckons, it's time to quickly take a look at how my day has been plus some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away 💨.
So today I had a wonderful brisk morning walk in the amazing fresh air. Then I was back indoors for a little bit of daily chores. Then later catching up with the news. The next chance of walking came in the afternoon out to the city center for some food, nice sunny day as I made my way. As always I squeezed in the afternoon nap and woke up some time early evening. After some news and you tube, it was time for the slow paced sunset walk. I had a nice walk then was back indoors still watching news and some you tube. I did enjoy the cool evening breeze 🍃 and beautiful sunset. So now let's quickly take a look at a summary of what was trending.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹,the doctors' strike is still on as govt and unions keep the negotiation talks going.
Globally, things are still tough in Gaza. Israeli forces are continuing to besiege the Al shifa hospital complex in northern Gaza😿. The troops are threatening to blow up the building while people are trapped inside🙀.
Israel says it has killed 140 fighters in the complex and detained 260 others. Food and water are not being allowed in for people trapped inside😿.
Also trending, US secretary of state Anthony Blinken, was in Egypt on his Diplomacy tour. He met Arab leaders and talked of a lasting ceasefire in Gaza. He said the talks in Doha are difficult but gaps were narrowing.
Trending in Europe, Russia launched a large missile strike on Kyiv and surrounding areas🙀. The Ukrainian airforce says its defence shot down all 30 missiles over Kyiv.
However, the missiles' debris set fires on some apartment buildings, with at least 17 people injured😿.
Across the pond in the US, the department of justice announced an antitrust lawsuit in against tech giant Apple. Apple is accused of illegally shutting out competition🙀.
Also trending, president Biden has cancelled $6 billion in student debt for public workers. He has by now cancelled $140 billion in student debt since taking office🎊. Those pesky loans make life difficult for many people.
Finally, a 62 year old man is said to be recovering well and should leave hospital soon, after getting a new kidney from a pig 🐖🙀. The pig was genetically modified to reduce the risk of the organ being rejected.
US surgeons say the patient is a real hero for trying the pioneering operations.
The ultimate hope is to use animal organs for more transplants.
So that's it, do check me out yet again tomorrow on an amazing high five Friday 🙌. Until then keep stepping and enjoying yourselves to the max 💯. Nothing much to add but bid you adieu 💖💞💖 Take care, Hakuna Matata.
