And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope (Romans 5 : 3 - 4).

FOOD FOR THOUGHT ON THIS VERSE

As we gather here tonight for our Monday night prayer, let us reflect on the words from Romans 5:3-4.
Trials and tribulations may seem like obstacles in our lives, but they can also serve as opportunities for growth and development.
Through these difficult times, we can learn to cultivate patience, which in turn leads to experience and ultimately hope.
Let us pray for the strength to endure any challenges that come our way and the wisdom to see the lessons that can be learned from them.
May we emerge from every trial with a stronger faith and a deeper understanding of God's love and grace.
As we continue in prayer, let us also remember those who are currently facing trials and tribulations in their lives.
May they find comfort and strength in God's love and may their patience lead them to experience hope and joy.
Let us lift them up in our prayers and ask for God's guidance and blessings upon them.
May we also be a source of support and encouragement for those around us who may be going through difficult times.
Let us show them the same love and grace that God has shown us, and may our actions bring glory to His name.
As we conclude this Monday night prayer, let us hold onto the hope that comes from knowing that God is with us always, even in the midst of trials and tribulations.
Let us trust in His plan for our lives and have faith that He will see us through every challenge.
May we continue to grow in patience, experience, and hope as we face the ups and downs of life.
And may our Monday night prayer serve as a reminder that we are not alone in our struggles, but rather part of a community of believers who support and uplift each other.
Let us go forth from this gathering with renewed strength and a deeper connection to God's love and grace.
I remember the old saying, "Thank God for the fleas," by Corrie ten Boom. The fleas kept the German soldiers from going into the barracks where she was being held in the Jewish concentration camp. This let her help people who were being persecuted and visit them. She could show and talk about Jesus there. Even in the worst pain, God can bless those who know that the goal of life is not comfort but character.

    MY PRAYER TONIGHT

Mighty God, I acknowledge that I grow impatient and annoyed with difficulties, discomfort, and suffering. Please grant me greater compassion and a better listening to ear, so that I may bless people who need your love and kindness. Give me the fortitude to find delight in the challenges of breaking past the hurdles Satan sets in the road to block people from the Jesus. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
