Hello again, Hive community!
You might be wondering, "Didn't this person just publish their introductory post a few days ago?" And you're right! My last post was a great starting point, but I realized it didn't quite capture the essence of what an introductory post should be. So, I'm back, and this time, I'm eager to share more about myself.
Before I dive in, I want to acknowledge the wise words of someone who told me, "The culture of Hive is very, very different from almost all other blockchain ecosystems." At first, I thought I understood what that meant, but it wasn't until they said it that the truth really sunk in. Even though I knew about other ecosystems, Hive was quite different, and that was a valuable lesson.
One of the key takeaways I've learned so far is the importance of "building in public." At first, I thought I could just publish posts sporadically and interact occasionally. But now, I'm committed to being more intentional about my presence on this platform. I'll plan my posts, ensure they align with the image I want to build, and engage with this community in a genuine way. After all, personal branding is the new résumé.
So, let me start by sharing a bit about myself. My name is Lade, and I currently reside in Lagos, Nigeria. As the firstborn daughter, I've developed a relentless grit that drives me to pursue my passions. I'm also a proud graduate of accounting. In my free time, I love learning new things, and Hive has been a fascinating journey so far.
I'm looking forward to continuing my learning journey and growing with this community. When I'm not exploring the world of blockchain, you can find me reading, learning new skills, or simply enjoying quality time with loved ones.
I know this might not seem like a lot, but I believe in taking baby steps. In the coming weeks, I hope to share more about myself, my interests, and my goals. I'm excited to build connections with each of you and learn from your experiences.
So, here's to making life-changing decisions and embracing the Hive community with open arms! I'm stoked to be here and can't wait to see what the future holds.
Thank you for taking the time to read my second introductory post. I look forward to your feedback, guidance, and support on this incredible journey.
