Here we have extensive crop fields where egrets can be seen. I was passing through the road in the field with my camera in hand when I saw the egrets. It is a white bird with long wings. The main food of the bird is fish. Also eats insects, snakes and frogs. There are many small ponds in the field and there are lots of fish. They came here mainly to eat these fish. Apart from this, there is no shortage of snakes, frogs and insects in the field. So the birds are seen hunting even in the field grass.
Although the size of the birds is very large, they are very timid. People fly away when they see it. There is reason to be afraid. People hunt birds and eat them. People use traps to hunt these birds. They use fish as bait in traps. The birds were caught while eating fish. There are still many people in the world who love bird meat. Birds are sold to them. Killing of birds is prohibited in our country but people defy this law. So the number of birds is decreasing day by day.
