I love my city!! I love a clean planet!!

Hello fellow lovers of a clean city!! I am delighted to be here yet again. One of the things I learnt today is that the people we associate ourselves with play a major role in determining what we turn out to be. Pondering over that, I remembered the #Cleanplanet community. I must say this, your commitment to keeping a clean environment has affected me positively, making me resolve to always clean the city, and advising others to act in like manner.

Yesterday, I travelled out of my city. But before I did, I joined hands with other neighbors in my street in clearing the drainages from wastes, cleaning the environment and disposing the accumulated dirts appropriately. I as we traveled by bus, I was very pleased to see how people in other cities we passed were very committed to maintaining a healthy environment like we did. They all obeyed the rules and regulations guilding the state by keeping their environment clean and joining the end of the month compulsory clean up exercise.

But the question is; Do we need to be reminded before we know the importance of cleaning??
Must it be during compulsory cleanup days that we get to clean our city?? The answer is a big NO! Everyday is for cleaning and maintaining a clean environment.

So today, after completing my scheduled activities for the day, I decided to visit my place of work this evening to get some things done. After I was able to get some things done, I was ready to go.

I was observant to notice that the whole building was littered yet again though it was already getting dark.. I took out nylons and began doing justice to the litter. People watched in disbelief, but were really happy to see the results after each spot was cleaned. From the staircases to each and every doorstep of their stores, to the compound and some others in the streets.

Cleaning gives a sign of relief and breathe of fresh air to anybody who engages in it, and that was how i felt. I didn't forget to drop the nylons containing dirts in the trash can provided by the government. I washed my hands immediately I got home so as to avoid germs from penetrating. I am happy to have contributed my time and energy to reduce the rate at which dirts litter the street. Here are some pictures from my cleaning....
