Today I want to show through a tutorial how to make a beautiful woven phone case, inspired by MIU, a character from the holozing game.
This woven phone case is very useful, because when we put the phone in the wallet the glass is scratched, this allows us to keep the phone free of scratches and nice.
I was inspired by the beautiful kitty named Mui from Holozihg, he is very cute, I love animals very much, I do not allow them to do evil with me. One of my dreams is to have a house to shelter all the animals in street conditions.
Materials needed for the realization of the beautiful MIU knitted cover:
- Knitting yarn, colors: blue, green, white, black and pink.
- Scissors.
- Knitting needle, number 2 mm.
- Wool needle.
Steps to make the MIU knitted phone case:
- This case is very easy to make, you don't need to be an expert to make it, just by knowing , what is chain stitch, low stitch, slip stitch and decrease or increase, I hope you understand the step by step.
- The first thing to do is to take the blue yarn and the knitting needle, where the telephone is placed, we make the chain stitches taking the width of the telephone as a measure, in my case, it measures 7 centimeters. I made 18 chain stitches, then I made 18 low stitches in each point I put three low stitches so that it would be round.
- I continued making the cover, placing low stitches in each stitch. I measured the height of the phone, 17 centimeters, I made 31 rows, on the top I made back stitch or crab stitch, it is used to finish off the fabrics and has a nice finish.
We continue with the ears of MIU, we make a magic ring, inside we put 4 single crochet stitches, we close with a slip stitch.
For the second row, we put two single crochet stitches in each stitch, that is, one increase, we would have 8 single crochet stitches. For the next row, two more increases, 10 single crochets, for the next row 12 single crochets and for the last or fifth row 14 single crochets, in this way you will make the ears, you must make two.
To make the legs: make a magic ring, inside the ring, put 6 single crochet stitches.
For the second row, make increases in each stitch, there will be 12 stitches. For the third row, 2 more stitches; 14 stitches.
For the fourth row 16 single crochet stitches and for the fifth row 18 stitches, that is 2 increases. Of these, 2 must be made.
- To make the eyes we take the white yarn, we make a magic ring and introduce 8 single crochet stitches, for the second round, we make an increase in each stitch for a total of 16 stitches. Now with the green color, we make a magic ring, introduce 4 single crochet stitches and for the second round, we make an increase in each stitch for a total of 12 stitches.
- We sew the two rounds white and green, with the black color, we introduce the wool needle and we make a line, with the white color we place a dot, in this way we are going to make two eyes.
- We make the triangles that are glued inside the ears in the following way: make a chain of three, then in the second stitch and in the third a single crochet, then in the second round, we make 4 single crochets and for the fifth round we make 5 single crochets, from this one we make two.
- In the same way the nose is made.
- Having all the parts ready to make MIU, we sew with the help of the wool needle, placing each of the parts, and finally with the black thread we place the mouth, the eyebrows and the nails of the paws.
