Good day, people of Hive, I hope your week is going smoothly.

Have you ever battled with depression? If not you, someone you're close to.
Hmmmmmmmmm, though I am not the one, it happened to one of my neighbours while I was still in my home town.

Firstly, I have heard people talk about depression, but this would be my first time experiencing it.
Some people experience depression as a persistent feeling of sadness or emptiness. Some people might have frequent thoughts of committing suicide to reduce their depression. I have also learned that there are many possible causes of depression. It can be triggered by a major life event, such as loss, trauma, or biological factors.

Depression is a serious condition that can take time and effort to treat. Also, I heard that one of the best ways to support someone with depression is to simply listen to them and be there for them because they will feel happy knowing they have someone they can rely on.

Also, depression is a serious mental health problem that can affect anyone. To be able to cure the depression, it's best if the person seeks medical solutions or a counsellor. Even the best way is to meet a psychiatric person who will be able to help the person.

There's this woman in our home town who was pregnant with twins, though she has already had six or seven children already, so due to the inresponsibility of the woman husband, the woman will be the one to go to the farm to do the farm work.

Even the woman's mother was also living with them due to her blindness, so anytime the woman and her husband go to the farm to work, the woman will be the one to do the majority of the of the work on the farm, and sometimes she will ask two or three of her oldest daughters to follow her because all her children are guys, so they will go to the farm to pick (Cashew nut) or look for firewood to cook.

The day of her D.D. arrival (date of delivery), she gave birth to her twin daughters at home. She was happy that she gave birth to them, though they were pre-mature babies. Giving birth to them at seven months of her pregnancy, everyone was happy for her, but her happiness was short when both babies died in the evening the day she gave birth to them.

She was so depressed for six months that she wanted to kill herself. When she was even giving birth to her babies, her husband was not around at that time. One day she went to buy snipper, saying she wanted to drink it and die. People saw this and collected it from her; they didn't have a choice but to admit her to the psychiatry hospital for some months so that she would feel better.

I can feel her pain because she was depressed about losing her two daughters, but her killing herself won't solve any problems for her at all. If she kills herself, who will take care of her children, will she leave them to her husband, who's irresponsible and a blind mother?
I know depression is hard on some people, but seeking help is the best solution, and telling someone close to you is better than harming yourself or trying to kill yourself.

    Thanks for reading.
