Easter celebration was lit

The Easter celebration went well at my side; it was a beautiful one as I got to taste a delicacy for the first time, even though I thought I wouldn't be able to eat, and I enjoyed it as much as I should because of the way my mom was hyping the dish.

My mom is a chef, and it's a must that we try new dishes in my house now and then. It had become the family's culture. My mom always introduced new spices, complements, and dishes for the family to taste. We ended up enjoying some while we didn't, probably due to the ingredients used in the preparation or how it was prepared.

Before the Easter celebration, my mom had been telling us that she would love to prepare Chinese rice for Easter. Everyone in the house, including my dad, had the mentality that Chinese rice wouldn't be a good dish to eat because of all the ingredients my mom was listing, which she would use in preparing the food.

I had been praying silently to God to make the dish palatable because it wouldn't be nice to spend huge money buying all the ingredients and later we wouldn't be able to eat the food.

A few days before Easter, I followed my mom to the market to get the ingredients needed. If I'm not mistaken, the ingredients are more than twenty, which she listed out. Some of these were basmati rice, green pepper, yellow pepper, parsley, celery, sausage, chicken breast, sesame seed oil, olive oil, cauliflower oil, and one other oil that I've forgotten the name of, cabbage, carrot, sugar, ginger, green bean, garlic, onion, and some others that I can no longer remember.

On Easter morning, after church service, upon getting home, we started the preparation, and it took longer than I expected. But the surprising thing about the dish was that my mom added no seasoning to it, which is salt or Maggi, yet the food turned out so well. It was very delicious, I must say, and it would be difficult to tell that it wasn't seasoned.

All the ingredients added gave it the sweetness it required. We all enjoyed eating the food, including our family and friends who came around to celebrate with us. Trying this new delicacy made Easter fun for me. Yes, I'm a foodie; you can say that again.

The month of March was a beautiful month for me, business-wise. Things took a good turn, which I was happy about. My relationship with friends and family remains intact, even though there was a crash on the last day of the month. I couldn't have asked for more; it was a perfect month, and I appreciated every good thing I received.

The month of March was a promising month, although some distractions seemed like the end of a beautiful beginning. Yet it was still a month that made me realize that being focused is a great way to succeed. At least I got to learn and taste a new delicacy, I wouldn't regret doing that. And the beauty of being with family cannot be underestimated.
