Hey Hivers! It's me again, Jera back again with another blog. I'm super-duper excited to share with you how we celebrated my sister's 18th birthday.
Not long ago, we celebrated a very special occasion. My sister turned 18!! It was her big day, we wanted to celebrate in a way that she will not forget and to make her feel loved, treasured and cherished. So, we decided to celebrate it at Parola Seaview Restaurant. It is known for its beautiful view and of course their delicious and mouth watery foods.
We arrived at the restaurant at night. The evening air felt so cool and refreshing. Parola has a lovely outdoor area where you can see the ocean. When my sister saw the view, her face lit up. Without second thoughts, we decided to sit there and enjoy the waves that gently crashed on the shore and the lights from the restaurant and the starts above made the whole scene magical.
After scanning their menu, we ordered a different of dishes to share. The menu had delicious seafood, pasta, and some local favorites like sinigang. Each dish was better than last! Sharing food brought us closer together, and we laughed as we shared stories from our childhood. It was nice to enjoy these moments with our family.
A bouquet of flowers and a cake was delivered just right after our dinner. We ordered it to surprise my sister. We asked the restaurant to help us with this. When they brought it out and started singing “Happy Birthday,” she was so happy. I can saw that tears were almost falling down from her cheeks. It was a moment full of smiles and of course, we took a LOT of pictures to remember the night.
After having the cake, we stood outside for a little while. The ocean wave’s noise and the cold air made the ideal background for our conversations. I talked a lot about what does she think the future holds for her now that she is 18 years old. A very heartwarming discussion about dreams, worries, and all the things that lie ahead for her as she steps into adulthood was.
As the evening passed by, I was happy to have spent time with my family, celebrating my sister's day. The setting was perfect by Parola Seaview Restaurant with the beautiful view and great food. More than that, it was the love we shared as a family that made this birthday so special.
The 18th birthday celebration of my sister at Parola Seaview Restaurant was memorable night for every one of us, most especially, for my sister. It taught us how to appreciate the time we spend together. I hope she always remember this birthday as joyful occasion.
