Hello cyclist friends, I hope you are feeling very well, the day before yesterday Saturday I went out for a bike ride as I always do, although this time I had a little flu, this ride was a little different since I was not going to ride as a purpose but rather I was heading towards a rock concert that would take place at the city's Obelisk, local and emerging bands were going to perform as part of a festival that is starting, where the objective is to give new rock bands the opportunity to perform. meet before the public. The place was very well chosen, since it was open to the sky and it was also a show that was enjoyed with the family, punk rock, heavy metal, alternative rock, ska and reggae bands performed, there were also experimental rock and Latin music bands very good Here I briefly comment on my journey and share part of the experience at the concert, I hope you like it.
Hola amigos ciclistas, espero que se encuentren muy bien, anteayer sábado salí a rodar en bicicleta como siempre suelo hacerlo, aunque esta vez estaba con un poco de gripe, este paseo fue un poco diferente ya que no iba a pasear como un propósito sino que me dirigía hacia un concierto de rock que se llevaría a cabo en el Obelisco de la ciudad, iban a presentarse bandas locales y emergentes como parte de un festival que está comenzando, donde el objetivo es darle la oportunidad a nuevas bandas de rock para darse a conocer ante el público. El lugar estuvo muy bien escogido, ya que era a cielo abierto y también fue un espectáculo que se disfrutó en familia, se presentaron bandas de punk rock, heavy metal, rock alternativo, ska y reggae, también hubo bandas experimentales de rock y música latina muy buenas. Aquí comento brevemente mi recorrido y comparto parte de la experiencia en el concierto, espero les guste.
I left my house a little late, so I left in a bit of a hurry, so in a hurry that I forgot my glasses and my water to hydrate myself, but I took a shortcut through some streets. Some dogs chased me but I was able to reach the main road and take the road towards the Obelisk.
Salí un poco tarde de mi casa, por lo que salí algo apurado, tan apurado que olvidé mis lentes y mi agua para hidratarme, pero tomé un atajo por algunas calles,. algunos perros me persiguieron pero pude llegar a la vía principal y tomar la vía hacia el Obelisco.
I got to the place very quickly, so I continued on by, when I went up the elevated, I could hear the bands below rehearsing and testing the sound, in the end I did go ahead. Take the opportunity to spend some time at the top and take some photos. After there I headed a few kilometers further to kill time while the concert began.

Aproveche para estar un rato en la parte de arriba y tomar unas fotos. Después de ahí me dirigí unos kilómetros más adelante para hacer tiempo mientras comenzaba el concierto.

Aproveche para estar un rato en la parte de arriba y tomar unas fotos. Después de ahí me dirigí unos kilómetros más adelante para hacer tiempo mientras comenzaba el concierto.
Me alejé tanto que luego debí volver a toda velocidad, pero a tiempo para tomar las fotos en el horizonte que más me gusta, ese punto donde el sol da sus últimos rayos, estando en la parte de arriba pude escuchar la voz del presentador del show que el concierto estaba por comenzar. Así que di la vuelta y bajé rápidamente hacia la base del obelisco.
The place was great and especially an atmosphere for the whole family, I was very surprised to see young bands led by girls, I really liked how music is being renewed in the city and the passion for rock, where young girls are leading. The sound was great and each band was up to par, no problems and the show was the best, many people, like me, came on their bicycles, from their nightly rides and stayed enjoying the show. I was there for about two hours until I decided to return home.
El lugar estuvo genial y especialmente un ambiente para toda la familia, me sorprendió mucho ver bandas jóvenes lideradas por chicas, me gustó mucho como se va renovando la música en la ciudad y la pasión por el rock, donde las chicas jóvenes están liderando. El sonido estuvo buenísimo y cada banda estuvo a la altura, no inconvenientes y el show fue de lo mejor, muchas personas, así como yo, venían en sus bicicletas, de sus paseos nocturnos y se quedaron disfrutando del espectáculo. Estuve ahí como por dos horas hasta que decidí regresar a mi casa.
Then I said goodbye to some friends who came by on their bicycles, they continued at the concert but I was dying of cold and the desire to return. The entire obelisk was full of people, some skateboarders and BMX riders were in other areas practicing their tricks.
