I’m Thomas Praise Bamaiy, I hail from Jema’a Local Government Area kaduna State. I am the second and only male child of four. I was born in kafanchan Jema’a LGA.
A few years after my birth we moved to katsina state my parents decided
to take it upon their selves to put me in school. I first attended POWA NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL KATSINA after my nursery school, my parents decide to change my school to
‘KEY WAY NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL KATSINA where my elder sister schools so that she can watch over me.
Years later, my Dad who is a police officer, was transferred to Akwanga, Nasarawa State. My Father wanted to work there alone but subsequently, my Mom saw the need for the whole family to leave Katsina to join him.
Reaching Akwanga, my parents enrolled me in ST PETER’S
NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL, one of the best primary schools back then. They chose the school because I was a very slow learner. Probably,the transfer from one school to the other was the cause.
I was repeated to primary one because of how dull I was. My performance throughout my primary school was not something to boast about but GOD saw me through.
After my primary school, I got admitted into Central Government Secondary School, my parents wanted me to go to the best school in town but life has it's own ways of doing things.
Getting there I took it upon myself to make a difference by making a name for my primary school. surprisingly I became the best male
student in the class. As time pass i got enrolled into a different school.
I attended my senior secondary school at UBBE GOVERNMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL, Nasarawa Eggon. it was challenging having lots of brilliant students in same class with me but nevertheless I kept pushing in other
to see that I scale through.
Reaching SSS2 I had to leave to a Missionary school called BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL AKWANGA for reasons best known to my parents.
After graduating from Highschool I immediately got admitted into tertiary institution at Niger
State College of Education Minna. where I completed my Nigeria Certificate In Education (NCE) program.
After college, I didn't relent I went to look for what to do in order to earn a living because responsibilities started knocking at my door as the first male child.
I had to involve Myself into doing security work in Abuja before my NCE result came out, a few months later my result was out and since I already got a NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION (NCE). I decided to go into the teaching sector, I taught in De-Ultimate Glory Academy Nasarawa State, A private School in akwanga, for a year then left the work due to some reasons.
I love making friends with my students and most of them call me MR LANKWASA meaning
(MR BEND), "It is said that if you don't bend a stick when it's fresh you can't bend it when is
dry". I discipline my student well.
Along side teaching I am a certified Electrician, Graphic Designer, a Hair Stylist, Video
grapher and I also work with RAY-MEDIA COMPANY, even though the company is really
demanding but I keep giving my best.
I got to know about HIVE through my two good brothers in the year 2022 but I was reluctant to join at first for few reasons best known to me. But then as time goes on I considered the person's who told me about it and I knew that if it wasn't worth it, they wouldn't have join talk more of telling people about it.
I kept telling them I am not a good writer but they said Hive is a place of making,so I am here, I look forward to learn from the chain and also contribute positively in the best way I can.
