A Perfect Hiking Trail at Sitio Along-Alongon Mountain In Manticao, Misamis Oriental

Greetings everyone, Manticao Misamis Oriental contains lots of big mountains, and some of it are perfect for doing some adventure just like hiking and mountain climbing. As part for today's blog, Let me share the great sceneries and overviews at the place during my visits at the areas of Sitio Along-Alongon. This are some of the neighboring mountains can be seen here and there are lots of people came from far away places went here just to explore the place and do camping activities. I think all of us loves to do hiking and sight seeing those beautiful place and as for that, I will share the great sceneries. Let's begin exploring.

Location of The Place:

Sitio Along-Alongon is near by place at Sitio Makawa and The Municipality of Naawan, Misamis Oriental. Barangay Paniangan is also a neighboring place of this Sitio and it contains lots of high and big mountains. This is really far from Urban Areas just like Super Markets, National Roads or any crowded places. From Barangay Poblacion, it takes 5 hours of walking, not accessible for any passenger vehicles and the only thing we can do to reach this place is by walking or hiking. It contains a long road trail just for the people and a rocky road perfect for cycling activities.

There are some ancient and old trees can be seen in the place, and some of this are those trees we can seen in the pictures. We called this tree, Bangkal. It grows many years already and it gives a shady areas of the place on were it grows. It keeps standing tall and majestic among all trees here and this is the place were mountain climbers do some rest for a few minutes.

This is the rocky road trail leading to the top of the mountain. This road trail is located at the slope mountain areas in Bandera and it contains of solid Silica stones. Bikers are having fun riding thier bikes here as part of their adventure but slightly dangerous when this road will getting wet because of the rains.

This views is not yet at the top of the high places here in the Sitio. This is still at the mountain slopes but it can be seen the entire place of Manticao. There are also some of the coconut trees grows in the place because this place was once a planting areas of coconuts. This place is also a perfect spots for animal ranch just like Cows, Goats and Carabaos.

This is the great overviews and sceneries on the top of the Mountain and I can feel the wind blowing from the Sea. Neighboring mountains can be seen from here including those plain areas of Manticao. From here, we can see the neighboring Barangays of Manticao starting from Barangay Paniangan, Pagawan at Poblacion. I can feel how relaxing, peaceful and quite here, only chirping and tweeting of birds can be heard here.

This is the place were I went and it can be seen all views here. This mountain is the border point of the two Barangays and a perfect place for doing camps and any kinds of nature activities. Along-Alongon mountains is also near at Bandera place and it hid a great and interesting stories from the past. Some of the stories here when American War situations. Many american soldiers went here and make a camps for a few days here, they put camps here so that they can see the enemies below the place using their telescopes.

There is also a landmark can be seen and one of this is this one. It placed on the mountain slopes areas and it burried many years already. It indicates of the different territorial place and land owners of each place. Along-Alongon mountains contains lots of wonderful and great over views and everybody will really have a good time spending with their time here at the mountain.
