A lovely Socialist

This prompt is last of month and here is my entry.
Abdul Sattar Edhi, Pakistan’s compassionate and tireless philanthropist, remained devoted to providing the poor and needy with assistance. The fact that the Edhis were very poor, inspiring their dedication as well as sympathy to the underprivileged was an eye, and heart-opening experience.
Since early childhood, Edhi always had the feeling that others' sorrow would belong to him, too. He experienced the misery of those homeless or without health care, and it has somehow touched him personally. Determined to make the difference he committed himself to the philanthropic path by collecting donations and giving the medical care free of charge to those in need.
As he grew into maturity, Edhi's charitable endeavors reach out. He established the Edhi Foundation, a non-profit making establishment which provides a myriad of social services among them; healthcare, education, and emergency response. They became a symbol of hope, days and nights as a life-saving vehicle to all, regardless of wealth or social status.
Inability to overcome all the difficulties set before Edhi did not stop him from performing his mission. His sincere dedication to the cause over the years not only deserved him the title "Angel of Mercy" but also gained him the respect of people all over the world.
Edhi's legacy is teaching us generations to do good to the others, to take the initiative and find a solution to address the social problems that we see around us. His life stands as a symbol of the influence of love and unity on the society by creating a better world in social justice and equality.
