"THE WAY I SEE IT"- Rural photography from Montalbán, Carabobo, Venezuela

When I take photographs in rural environments, something very similar starts to happen to me as with street photography... Gradually I start to "look beyond the landscape" and after a few pictures I find myself looking for what I call "complex spaces"...

Therefore, these photos are very diverse and aim to try to share with you a more intimate kind of vision on the rural spaces around my village. Obviously, there is something "of myself" in these photos, something very particular, something that resembles when I walk down the street and people call me "The madman with the camera in his hand"... But this time in a "rural" version... ;)

This is really fun to do. I mean everything from the time I'm taking these photos to the hours I spend in front of my PC selecting them, editing them, looking at them and (the nicest thing) captioning them!... I like to do this and that's why I also like to share it with you...

    MONOCHROME VERSIONS

I have prepared an additional black and white edition for these photographs to share here as well. As usual with me, I really like to observe and compare the colour versus monochrome versions in the same photos. That's something that teaches me and tells me a bit more about each photo and also serves as an additional editing exercise,a thing which I value a lot (I like to edit for hours, I do a lot of catharsis doing that).

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... The shots are then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Thank you very much for your visit and appreciation!
