Amazon has had a rough time with New World(IMO) in terms of gameplay features and content. The world they built though is extremely vibrant and unique with plenty of Gaming Photography opportunities.
Photo Title: Undestruction Sphere
This photo was taken in an expedition(Dungeon) and it lingered in the background as we advanced through the expedition. After the final boss we were as close as we could get as it wasn't an actual area of the expedition.
Still cool to see!
Photo Title: Floral Flow
This area is pretty but sort of out of the way. Behind the trees is a shrine to somebody and I am unsure if it is a personal shrine to a real person or if it's just more world building.
Though the combination of the river, flowers, and unique trees(That cannot be chopped down) definitely make this area stand out.
Photo Title: Towering Plateau
This photo is of a tower I may or may not have captured and shown on here before but this is a different angle and different time of day(ingame). It was difficult to capture this as the camera is focused on the character and there is only an option to hide the HUD.
I managed to finagle my character out of the shot and capture this photo. The tall grass and the flowers on the bottom were helpful and added to the photo.
In my experience, many players rush through the game to hit max level before sitting in a city to queue for the next expedition/pvp matchmake. They never venture around after to see the world they blew past and that is quite a shame.
The space in New World is well made and the different types of architecture and settings found in each zone that span across the early eras of history are well put together and somehow make a world worth seeing.
I remember my friends getting mad at me in other open world games because they would want to queue up but I wasn't in the capital city/main hub. I was always exploring the game and seeing what oddities and sights the game had to offer.
What did they expect? The genre is 'Open World'.
Thanks for viewing!
Happy (Photo) Shooting!
