Here are some “top shots”, but actually, they are just photos from the top of Yates Mountain. As you can see, I was not actually at the very ”top“, but close enough you might say. One of the reasons I come to the Canadian Rockies so often is to take photos. In all honesty, it’s about 60% about the photography and about 40% for the hiking part. Although that can be flipped sometimes, especially when weather is particularly not nice. On those occasions I literally put away the camera and just hike for the fresh air and exercise enjoyment. When the weather is optimum, a heavenly experience it really is. The best of both worlds you might say. Photos taken from the Prairie View lookout hiking trail, Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada.
