Walking Alone and Free

Traveling again, without a care,
down this long, desolate highway.
Thinking about what tomorrow will bring.
Glad to be done with yesterday.

I'm searching, searching for something.
Something that I may never find.
But I must continue to search.
Leaving my troubled life behind.

The sounds of the night are calming.
I haven't seen a car in hours.
Walking this road all by myself.
Hoping to avoid the rain showers.

This line of lights shows me the way.
Where they're leading me, I don't know.
When you're a man without worries.
You learn to just go with the flow.

To me, time is not important.
It doesn't mean a thing to me.
I enjoy walking on these roads.
It makes me feel alive and free.
