ervin-lemark just finished a 3.48km run, that lasted for 20 minutes.
This run helped ervin-lemark burn 197.0 calories.

    Description from Strava:

I'll use the post about the short run this late afternoon, in the dark already, about two novelties at Strava.

First, there are "Updates to Privacy for Connected Apps". In a gist:

Third-party apps will now only be allowed to display Strava activity data related to a specific user to that user. Partners will be required to update their app within 30 days of November 11th to align with this new standard.

I would love to give you an URL to read the details for yourself but ... this bring us to second novelty.

    URL stripping in description field

I can't publish posts with links in them any longer because these are being deleted while saving them. I asked Strava support how come and their answer was expected, alas.

We have implemented mechanisms to detect and prevent suspicious or unsafe activity on Strava. Due to the aforementioned safety measures we have in place, and in accordance with our policies, we are unable to lift the restriction at this time.

So, another personal safety measure meant to protect your wellbeing on net.

I suggested that they implement whitelisting but I don't suppose they will really make the trouble. I hope I'll stand corrected.

    What is your opinion?

Ps: I will add the links after this post gets published on Hive.

Ps2: cover photo was taken on today's doggy walk in the autumn clad forest. It was early enough to enjoy the sun. But, winter is coming. First snowflakes will be here in a couple of days.

    better and better
