Hello hello! 😘
I wanted to share this post in the community a few weeks ago when there was a coffee shop prompt I felt I can relate to it. But Lol, that was three weeks ago or so.
Now it's Saturday here in Romania and I finally have a chill morning, with no chores at all or things needing to be done, places to go to. I'm still in pijamas enjoying a cup of green tea.
When we were in Slovenia last year it was just in the first days of June, nice weather to be exploring nature and do walks, I'm telling u.
It was exactly those times when I started drinking coffee and that's the reason this coffee right here was somehow special because you know how it is when you start enjoying a new meal or a new favorite drink. ☕️
This is not the commmunity to be talking about a place, so I'm not going to go into details, but let me just share a few photos (out of the 200 I took here).
This place is located in Slovenia's Alps and it's called Vintgar Gorge, probably one of the most beautiful gorges in the world.

The Coffee Place is located just near the Waterfall.
They don't serve a wide range of coffee products or other drinks, but you can find something for everyone. They're also selling magnets, postcards, local products from local wood.
What I liked here it was that the coffee was served into ceramic cups, not plastic or paper cups, depsite being a place where thousands of people are coming to visit daily. They were fast, they were effective taking the orders, smiling to people and being really nice and making you feel comfortable around them.
The prices weren't dramatically expensive and the coffee was pretty good.
We bought 2 cappuccinos and we chose the DUO menu which came with a slice of their local rolled walnut pie and raisins. They also gave us a glass of water, which normally isnt served near a cappuccino, but an espresso. ☕️

The Coffee Place is located just near the Waterfall and the sound of it while you're up there, catching your breathe while sipping a cup of coffee, is simply peaceful and relaxing. The woods, the river, the whole place makes you feel like u dont wanna leave anymore. And the Alps starts to show their grateness in the landscape too.

I think this is all I can say about this little coffee place, located in a tourist destination. Overall, it was a beautiful experience in Slovenia here, both visiting these amazing surroundings and having a cup of coffee here. So, if you're around, don't miss it!
Also, I'm sorry I haven't been around lately and, in particular, this year. I'm working on that as I like to write my stories and share pieces of my life here on my blog. 💓
