Good morning to all you wonderful hivers! :) I just hate it when I get charged over and over again for some silly trial or maybe a thing that I DID sub to, but never meant for it turn into some auto renewing charge to my debit card,
I was just in my papypal account, and there were 5 automatic payments going that I DID use my card for, but I didn't want them to sign me up for anything or to even keep my card info. I didn't know paypal did such dirty financial practices.
I clicked on each one and had to manually 'stop payment by paypal' for each thing. These autocharges can be found in settings, under 'autopay', or just search for autopay in the help section.
So anyway, what I wanted to share with you is a solution to those pesky sneaky autopay stuffs or like they will keep your info and might charge you again in the future.. it's my capitol one debit card.
Every 6 months or so, I 'lose' my card, on purpose.. so that they send me a new one no questions asked.. no muss, no fuss. Noone has my card after I do that, 0except me and capitol one, of course. Sure, I have to about a week for the new card to reach me, but capitol one even gives me a new card # right away, for use to purchase things online. :) Also, there is NO fee for this new card, like my other bank that charges me (like $40 I think)
Another super important doc that came in the mail (finally) is my appeal form for SSI. (social security income) See, I qualify for this since I am permanently disabled. (car accident back in 1998) The silly SSI people went ahead and said I qualify as disabled (I saw 2 dr.s and took x-rays to prove this), but was awarded $0 per month! Now, what good is that?? and It took me what seemed like forever to get the whole process over with. Oh well, I guess now I can see the finish line.. I should be able to appeal it and get me some real assistance. (as in money!)
