The Agony Of A Lonely Christmas. A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words.

I see a devastating young man strolling down the street on a winter day which happens to be a few days to Christmas. And a young lady following from behind with a Christmas tree.

I think that my handsome young friend has been disappointed by his only expected companion for the Christmas celebration.

The Agony Of A Lonely Christmas.

Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm, John hummed as he tried to fill his lonely soul with some humour and excitement. Yet, that didn't work. He thought of what he could possibly do. “Sam, will surely have fun in his room. His girl is coming to make him happy. Besides, I learnt his sister has been around to celebrate the season with him.”, he whispered to himself.

“But, why should I be wandering about this Christmas? Shouldn't I be celebrating in my own apartment? I'm i not man enough to host friends and relatives for a Christmas celebration?”, John thought angrily.

John had been anticipating a beautiful and funfair Christmas celebration. He had thought that he would have a beautiful time celebrating with the lady he loves. But everything turned upside down when Agnes opted to travel to her mother’s side because John couldn't afford to get a Christmas tree decorated in his room. This would have been the first Christmas Agnes would have celebrated with John.

John had just been 7 months with Agnes in their relationship. John was the type of guy who flirts around. He was just waiting for the perfect choice who would make a good partner for him. Luckily, he found Agnes. Agnes loved John but having a Christmas without a Christmas tree wasn't what Agnes could endure.

Several thoughts ran through the mind of John. “How could a girl I hope to spend the rest of my life with abandon me at such a crucial time like this just because of a common Christmas tree!” He was left in a confused state not knowing exactly how to handle Agnes’ action.

Boooooom! The light flashed! As John was strolling down to the street in the cold winter morning, he heard a soft, tender, loving voice calling out to him, “John! John! I’ve gotten a Christmas tree! It was Agnes coming with a big Christmas tree in her hand.
