European whinchat on a branch (inkl. Video)

in voilk •  2 days ago

Yesterday I visited Lake Neusiedler for some photography and even though there were still very few birds there I still was able to get some nice shots of some of the birds already there. The European Whinchat was sitting there on a branch and I could take several pictures and a video of it. The branches still don't have any leaves so it is easier to get some nice clean shots with the bird not hiding somewhere. I was really grateful for the bird that it was sitting on the branch so open and close to me. And eventhough when I came closer it didn't fly away. I was also able to take a small video of the bird there.
