Hola chicos!
El día de ayer fue día un poco improvisado ya que inicié un curso de Inglés avanzado, al llegar a la academia se fue la electricidad y las clases se cancelaron, fui modelo para un curso de Nail Art, así que fue un día bastante agitado.
Mi día comenzó bien temprano, me levanté a las 7 a.m para bañarme y arreglarme para salir a mi curso que iniciaba a las 8 a.m la escuela queda relativamente cerca así que llegué a tiempo. Realice el proceso de inscripción, cancelé el 50% y me dirigí al salón.
Los temas que estaban impartiendo ya los conocía así que fue bastante fácil la primera clase, muy interactiva, pude participar en reiteradas ocasiones y me sentía bastante confiada.

Yesterday was a bit of an improvised day since I started an advanced English course, when I arrived at the academy the electricity went out and the classes were cancelled, I was a model for a Nail Art course, so it was a pretty hectic day.
My day started very early, I got up at 7 a.m. to shower and get ready to leave for my course that started at 8 a.m. The school is relatively close so I arrived on time. I went through the registration process, paid 50% and went to the classroom.
I already knew the topics they were teaching so the first class was quite easy, very interactive, I was able to participate several times and I felt quite confident.
Al terminar la clase me fui a casa, preparé almuerzo para mí y mi novio, a la 1 p.m vino a buscar su comida y salí de la casa con mi mamá rumbo a la Academia. Llegamos y comenzamos a preparar todo.
La clase de mi mamá inicia a las 2:00 p.m y la mía las 2:30 p.m así que mientras sus alumnos iban llegando yo terminaba de arreglar los textos que iba a enseñar a mis alumnos.
Primero, llegó Enrique y a los 10 minutos se fue la electricidad, inmediatamente supe que tenía que cancelar la clase ya que normalmente la electricidad tarda de 3 a 4 horas en regresar y al parecer era una falla en el sistema así que podría tardar un poco más.
Escribí por el grupo de whatsapp a los padres para que no enviaran a los niños y cambiamos la clase para el día viernes.
Le sugerí a Enrique que volviera a casa ero quiso quedarse un rato con mi madre, realmente es un niño muy colaborador y le encanta estar en la academia y por supuesto me enseñó la asignación que les había colocado para el hogar y todo estaba perfecto.
At the end of the class I went home, prepared lunch for me and my boyfriend, at 1 p.m. he came to pick up his food and I left the house with my mom on my way to the Academy. We arrived and started to prepare everything.
My mom's class starts at 2:00 p.m. and mine at 2:30 p.m. so while her students were arriving I finished arranging the texts I was going to teach my students.
First, Enrique arrived and after 10 minutes the electricity went out, I immediately knew I had to cancel the class since it normally takes 3 to 4 hours for the electricity to come back on and apparently it was a system failure so it might take a little longer.
I wrote through the whatsapp group to the parents not to send the kids and we rescheduled the class for Friday.
I suggested Enrique to go home but he wanted to stay with my mother for a while, he really is a very cooperative child and loves to be at the academy.
En ese mismo lapso de tiempo recibí una llamada de mi primo. Contesté un poco preocupada porque pensaba que había pasado algo, pero no fue así, me llamaba porque necesitaban a alguien que les sirviera de modelo pues su esposa está haciendo una Master Class de uñas acrílicas y debía hacer la practica.
Ya que había cancelado la clase, accedí a ayudarles. Dejé a mi madre en la academia y salí a tomar un vehículo para llegar al negocio de mi primo. Mientras caminaba me encontré un tío que ofreció llevarme hasta la salida de la urbanización y obviamente accedí porque había demasiado sol y el camino era largo.
Me dejó en la parada y de inmediato pasó un carro en el que me subí. Le notifique a mi primo que ya iba en camino, me indicó donde quedarme y me dijo que al llegar ahí le avisara para el recogerme.
Tardé como 10 minutos mas o menos en llegar, lo esperé en una tienda llamada ''El nidal del Sol'', tardó unos 5 minutos en llegar, gracias a Dios había buena música y me pude distraer con eso.
In that same period of time I received a call from my cousin. I answered a little worried because I thought something had happened, but it was not, he was calling me because they needed someone to serve as a model because his wife is doing a Master Class of acrylic nails and had to do the practice.
Since he had cancelled the class, I agreed to help them. I left my mother at the academy and went out to take a car to get to my cousin's business. As I was walking I met a guy who offered me a ride to the exit of the development and obviously I agreed because it was too sunny and the road was long.
He dropped me off at the bus stop and immediately a car passed by and I got in. I notified my cousin that I was on my way, he told me where to stay and told me to let him know when I got there so he could pick me up.
It took me about 10 minutes or so to get there, I waited for him in a store called ''El nidal del Sol'', it took him about 5 minutes to arrive, thank God there was good music and I could distract myself with that.
Llegamos al Spa y su esposa aún seguía en clase, así que aprovechamos ese tiempo para ponernos al día con algunas conversaciones que teníamos pendiente.
No nos vemos muy seguido por cuestiones de trabajo y tiempo pero, siempre que nos vemos conversamos bastante, le pido consejos acerca de la academia y estrategias de negocio pues es un comerciante con experiencia y siempre tiene buenos ''tips''.
Después de casi 1:30 minutos terminó la clase y era hora de la práctica.
De esto no pude tomar muchas fotografías pues elegimos la mano derecha para hacer las uñas y es la mano con la que normalmente tomó el teléfono y tengo mas control.
We arrived at the Spa and his wife was still in class, so we took advantage of that time to catch up with some conversations we had pending.
We don't see each other very often due to work and time issues but, whenever we see each other we talk a lot, I ask him for advice about the academy and business strategies as he is an experienced businessman and always has good tips.
After almost 1:30 minutes the class ended and it was time for practice.
I could not take many pictures of this because we chose the right hand to do the nails and it is the hand with which he normally took the phone and I have more control.
El proceso era largo, así que me dijeron que me pusiera cómoda, busqué en el televisor un Podcast y con eso me distraje un buen rato, de vez en cuando salía una conversación, risas o comentarios.
Tardamos 5 horas en completar estas uñas y solo trabajó en 4 dedos.
Tenía muchísimo frío y sueño, ya me dolía la espalda, estaba hambrienta solo veía la hora de llegar a mi casa.
Al terminar comenzaron las fotografías, no nos podíamos ir sin tener la foto y el vídeo perfecto. En eso, tardamos algunos 10 minutos.
The process was long, so I was told to get comfortable, I looked on the TV for a Podcast and that distracted me for a while, every now and then a conversation, laughter or comments would come out.
It took 5 hours to complete these nails and she only worked on 4 fingers.
I was very cold and sleepy, my back was hurting, I was hungry and I could only wait to get home.
When we finished we started the pictures, we couldn't leave without having the perfect picture and video. It took us about 10 minutes.
Después de toda la espera, por fin habíamos terminado. Cerramos el negocio y nos fuimos a casa. Primero dejamos a la esposa de mi primo para que cuidara de su bebé y mi primo me llevara a casa. De camino me compró una pizza por la espera y el favor.
Hacía días que tenía muchas ganas de comer pizza así que estaba feliz jaja.

After all the waiting, we were finally done. We closed up store and went home. First we dropped off my cousin's wife to take care of her baby and my cousin drove me home. On the way he bought me a pizza for the wait and the favor.
I had been craving pizza for days so I was happy haha.
