"Nido del Águila" Natural Spa. Mina Clavero, Córdoba, Argentina 🇦🇷 (20 Pics) [ENG/ESP]

Cordoba in general is characterized by its mountains, resorts and rivers that are visited by many tourists and residents especially in the summer season. Today I want to share with you my experience in an area called "Nido del Águila", a spa that is located just over 10 blocks from the center of Mina Clavero and about 150 km from Cordoba Capital.

A friend recommended this place, we took the car and traveled about 2 hours to get here.

Cordoba en general se caracteriza por sus sierras, balnearios y ríos que son visitados por muchos turistas y residentes más que todo en la temporada de verano. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en una zona llama "Nido del Águila", un balneario que se encuentra ubicado a poco más de 10 cuadras desde el centro de Mina Clavero y a 150 km aproximadamente desde Córdoba Capital.

Un amigo nos recomendó este lugar, tomamos el auto y viajamos unas 2 horas hasta llegar acá.

We parked the car and then had to walk up a few meters. The place was very crowded, so it seemed like a good idea since the influx of people was very frequent and they kept arriving.

Estacionamos el auto y luego tuvimos que subir caminando algunos metros. El lugar estaba muy concurrido, así que parecía una buena idea ya que la afluencia de personas era muy frecuente y no paraban de llegar.

Walking between trails and rocky mountains we could also see how people of different ages, even elderly people were walking to get to the spa and enjoy these spaces that the Nido del Aguila offers us... I took some pictures of these people while they were going up.

Caminando entre senderos y montañas rocosas también podíamos ver cómo personas de diferentes edades, incluso personas de edad avanzada caminaban para poder llegar al balneario y disfrutar de estos espacios que el Nido del Águila nos ofrece... Tomé algunas fotos de estas personas mientras subían.

This is the reception of the place which is guarded and protected by local policemen, which is a very good sign. Here they sell all kinds of food and drinks including alcohol, as it is in a summit the prices are a bit high but it is normal in this kind of places, so we were already prepared for this.

A few meters ahead of this reception is a viewpoint that allows you to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains and below is the spa with all the amount of people and a really beautiful atmosphere.

Ésta es la recepción del lugar que está custodiado y protegido por policías locales, lo cual es muy buena señal. Acá venden todo tipo de alimentos y bebidas incluyendo alcohol, cómo está en una cumbre los precios son algo elevados pero es normal en este tipo de lugares, así que ya estábamos preparados para esto.

Pocos metros más adelante de esta recepción se encuentra un mirador que te permite disfrutar de la hermosa vista de las montañas y abajo se encuentra el balneario con toda la cantidad de personas y un ambiente realmente hermoso.

I took some pictures of the top of the mountains, luckily there was nice weather.

Tomé algunas fotos de la parte superior de las montañas, por suerte había un lindo clima.

Here we are at the viewpoint that I mentioned before and this is what can be seen downwards. It is impressive the amount of houses or quintas that are on top of these mountains, some are private properties, others are houses that may be for rent or sale or there are even hotels.

Acá estamos en el mirador que antes mencioné y esto es lo que se puede observar hacia abajo. Es impresionante la cantidad de casas o quintas que hay en la cima de estas montañas, algunas son propiedades privadas, otras son casas que pueden estar en alquiler o venta o incluso hay hoteles.

This is a house that is for sale, I can deduce that its construction is not yet completely finished.

Ésta es una casa que está en venta, puedo deducir que aún su construcción no está terminada por completo.

This next structure is a residence, although I used my 200mm lens I can't see what kind of residence it is, but in terms of architecture it is beautiful.

Ésta siguiente estructura es una residencia aunque utilicé mi lente a 200mm no puedo alcanzar a ver qué tipo de residencia es, lo cierto es que en términos de arquitectura es hermosa.

A chalet type house in the middle of nowhere, literally? I'm not sure I could live in such a place 😅 What do you guys think?

Una casa tipo chalet en medio de la nada, literalmente... No estoy seguro de que pueda vivir en un lugar así 😅 ¿Ustedes que opinan?

Finally we arrived at the natural spa and there you can see how many people there were, sunbathing, enjoying with friends and family and enduring the extraordinary cold of the river water 😂

Finalmente llegamos al balneario natural y allí pueden ver la cantidad de personas que habían, tomando sol, disfrutando con amigos y familia y soportando el frío extraordinario del agua del río 😂

The previous year I visited many of these rivers and spas and the water temperature was a little warmer, this time it is very different, the water is quite cold but that does not prevent you from enjoying a good swim at least that does not stop me 😁

El año anterior visité muchos de estos ríos y balnearios y la temperatura del agua era un poco más cálida, en esta ocasión es muy diferente, el agua es bastante fría pero eso no impide disfrutar de un buen baño por lo menos eso a mí no me detiene 😁

Some of these pits can be up to 6 meters deep. "Nido del Aguila" is also known for having huge stones that are used as trampolines to jump into these wells, some of them can be up to 10 meters high.

We had not visited this place before, we really enjoyed the stay and the experience in this natural spa. I took as many pictures as I could at the time, so I hope you liked it as much as the place.

Algunos de estos pozos pueden tener hasta 6 metros de profundidad. "Nido del Águila" es conocido también por tener enormes piedras que las usan como trampolines para saltar a estos pozos, algunos pueden tener hasta 10 metros de altura.

Éste lugar no lo habíamos visitado antes, realmente disfrutamos mucho de la estadía y la experiencia en este balneario natural. Tomé la mayor cantidad de fotos que pude en ese momento, así que espero que les haya gustado tanto como el lugar.
