I trust we all are doing good, for this week I'd be performing a song cover titled "High" by Nigerian record producer, singer-songwriter SHAYDEE. This song has a very happy feel, lovely rhythm that makes you wanna dance anytime you hear it play. The song is sang mostly in English.and it is Xtra-cool is a love song talking about how lovely and beautiful a relationship mostly is when it's really new. We all can relate to this I'm sure, lol when the love is still new and fresh. But then why can't it always be so lovely as it was in the beginning?. Love is commitment, Love is discipline..it's not all fun and roses. The artiste tries to reassure his love interest that he's got her no matter what, even though he's always on the road and not always there for her. She's always on his mind and he can't stop thinking about her, he loves her so much. He wants her to trust him just like when the love first started, things happen in life that are beyond our control, it's not his fault that he can't always be there even when he wants to, he's out there trying to make ends meet to give them a beautiful future. Life happens but we gotta keep trying to get what we want, fight for our love but sadly these days no one wants to fight for what they want. They feel it should always be served on a platter just like it was in the beginning of the relationship. Relationship requires effort, sadly most people just feel too relaxed and stop putting in the work. It's not always butterflies just as it was in the beginning, reality begins to set in, we learn to tolerate and be patient with our partner. If we say we love someone, we must be willing to love them totally...no one is flawless, we try to change the things we can and accept the ones we can't (except toxic behaviours).
