I have been excited for the forthcoming WrestleMania 40 match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The stakes in this match are high as Roman is supported by The Bloodline, while Seth Rollins might come to be of aid to Cody on that day.
But, when I think about Seth’s past relationship with Cody🤔, I begin to wonder whether he has other better options for his corner.
Let us start with Sami Zayn:
He had a lot of things happen between him and The Bloodline, and getting together with Cody again will rekindle some old memories. More so, Sami has always impressed me when it comes to his ability to bounce back when defeated inside the ring; this would therefore give lots of bite in Cody’s corner.
What follows is Jey Uso, AKA YEET!
While they may not have much history together, their previous encounters on Monday Night RAW indicated that they could easily become very useful partners.
This means that having Jey on his side would mean that he can stay one step ahead since he knows The Bloodline well enough. Plus, Jey has got some unfinished business with his brother Jimmy and the Tribal Cheif Roman.
Randy Orton is another interesting possibility:
Randy also, just like Sami, has had dealings with The Bloodline before, or should I say recently. Just thinking about it sends shivers in my spine as I anticipate how they will look at each other during stare downs with Roman and his group.
The wild card, however, is CM Punk:
His return to WWE sent shockwaves through the wrestling world and his history with Roman Reigns only serves as a catalyst. No one can match intensity with Roman more than CM Punk himself. Well ofcourse except for the Beast Brock Lesnar.
If there’s anyone who can shake things up for Cody, it’s this bro.
So Yeah, I’m thrilled to find out who ends up in the CodyCryBabies Team at WrestleMania 40.
Every possible superstar brings something different to the equation: either a past episode featuring The Bloodline or some personal knowledge of Cody himself.
Yet still, regardless of whoever it may be, one thing seems certain;
WrestleMania 40 would be legendary in every way one looks at it.
