I've been looking to add to my kitchen gadgets, and thanks to some diet conversations with my doctor regarding the need for me to limit my fat intake, I decided to purchase an air fryer as a lasting solution that helps me drastically reduce oil intake in my food, so I'm excited to share my unboxing and review of this NI9NE 5L Air fryer. Being someone who enjoys cooking, I was pleased to receive the package and couldn't wait to see how it'll perform. Well, first of all, let's get to the unboxing.
My Unboxing Experience
After getting informed that my order is ready for pickup at the Jumia pickup station, I went and received the ary fryer, which came in a brown sturdy box with a diagram of the product on the box and some instructions. On getting home, I began the unboxing process, and the items inside are as listed below:
- The 5L air fryer
- A recipe booklet
- A nonstick basket
- A user manual
Everything looks pretty cool, and I must say that my first impression about it was that it looks modern and sleek, a product that'll on its own beautify the kitchen with its compact design that won't make it occupy too much space in the kitchen. Also, its display is just classic, a digital one that's literally easy to navigate, not forgetting that the adjustment temperature control and the timer have a well-detailed label that guides one on the right template and the like.

Cons
Although I've one slight disappointment about the product, although it isn't much of a big deal, who knows what I might be missing out on because of this downside? Well, the downside is no other than the fact that the air fryer user manual was not written in English. I mean, who does that? English is a universal language, and all products need to have their interpretation for global customer guidance. Being someone who loves to read every detail of instructions on a product, this was a disappointment for me.
However, my disappointment didn't last long, as I've found the air fryer to be incredibly easy to navigate and use without any stress whatsoever, even without the manual. The digital display, coupled with the well-detailed writing on the control and regulator, plays an intuitive role that helps me easily understand how to use the air fryer.
Performance
Although I haven't made use of it more than twice, yet I'm already placed with the air fryer performance. It's a device that heats up quickly, letting it cook/fry the food evenly, making it even crispy if I want it to. Already, I've tried frying chips and fish with it, and both turn out well, drastically reducing the quality of oil I use, as I just need to spray small oil on the basket and the product I want to air fry. A friend told me she even baked cake with it, although I haven't tried it with mine, but it's good to know it can also help me out when I want to bake.

- 5L Extra large capacity; at first I thought it'd be small, but the capacity seems large enough to fry a full chicken at once.
- Adjustable timer and temperature control; these made navigating the air fryer seamless for me.
- It's easy to clean and also creates less noise when in use.
- Nonstick basket inclusion helps prevent the possibility of some of my food getting stuck on the product.
Overall, I'm pleased with this product so far, and already I can see it's helping me limit my calorie intake, as I don't use large quantities of oil like I used to in the past. This is a product of the present and the future, and I'm recommending it for anyone who wants an easy solution to reducing their oil intake or to beautify their kitchen with a reliable and easy-to-use air fryer.
