My Own Version of Creamy Carbonara Pasta

    As promised, I’m going to share my version of the Carbonara recipe that I prepared for my daughter's birthday last Sunday. Here it is now. Let's have a glimpse!!

    My Own Version of Creamy Carbonara Pasta



    INGREDIENTS:




    • Carbonara Pasta
    • Bacon
    • Ham
    • Evaporated Milk
    • Creamer
    • Cheese
    • Carbonara Mix Powder (or you can also use Cream of Mushroom Powder)
    • Mushroom
    • Parsley
    •Onion
    • Garlic
    • Salt
    • Canola Oil
    • Ground Black Pepper
    • Magic Sarap Seasoning
    • Water


    PREPARATION:




    Gather all the ingredients on the table.
    Peel and wash the onion and then cut it into small pieces.
    Crush and peel the garlic, then cut it into very tiny pieces or mince it.
    Wash the parsley and cut it into small pieces.
    Grate the cheese.
    Take out the mushrooms from the can and then slice them into small pieces.
    Then, set them all aside, and we'll start cooking.

    COOKING TIME:





    Boil some water in a pot, and then add a pinch of salt and canola oil.
    Then add the carbonara pasta and cook until it is al dente. Strain and drain the pasta, then transfer it to a clean and dry pot or a container of your choice and set it aside.



    Fry the bacon and ham through the air fryer until all are finished.
    Let them cool down a bit, and then cut the bacon into small strips while the ham into small cubes. Then set aside.




    In a pan or cooker, sauté onions and garlic. You can also add bell pepper if you like.




    Then, add the bacon and ham. Stir to mix and add the mushrooms, then sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Then, add the diluted carbonara powder mix.





    Next, add the evaporated milk and creamer. Stir and mix them well, then bring to a boil for just a few minutes.



    Then, add the grated cheese. Mix them well and then season with garlic powder, ground black pepper, a pinch of salt, and a little Magic Sarap seasoning. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for another few minutes.



    After cooking the carbonara sauce, pour it over the pasta and mix well. Add some parsley. Toss and mix them well. Then, garnish with some grated cheese and parsley on top.



    And there is our creamy and delicious carbonara pasta! Transfer it to a serving plate and add a little decoration to make it more presentable.
