Hello everyone! Happy New Year indeed and a very joyful celebration to all family and friends. A small celebration of our family even itself not that much can really make us happy and contented, as the new year comes and seeing all the happiness and the excitement on welcoming the new year at the strike of 12 can always make you feel the energy of the new ambiance and the new beginning of your chapter in life.
Let me share to you our little celebration to this new year. We prepared the food for the table, we helped each other as a family as a sort of bonding and the symbol of love when it comes to the kitchen. Every new year, this is our tradition, we help each other to the house like cleaning, cooking and other chores for the house to be ready on new year. We don’t have that much on the table but it’s such great feeling when you’re complete and happy, a simple bonding and a simple gathering is too much for us and a blessing that we still have food to eat and survived for another year with no one in our family got separated and able to survive the struggle that we faced last year.

After the small preparation, I let my mother and sister took care of the kitchen because I have to go and work. I know some of them said that I should take the day off and enjoy preparing but sadly I can’t, it’s also enjoyable having time with my students and talk with them. Many of my students greeted me with a happy new year since they knew that we celebrated it here, a very sweet children with beautiful and loving personality. In my break time, I only eat and stayed on my seat so that I’ll get ready for my next class and it isn’t the bad part of my work, I really love teaching my students and that is also the best part why I am thankful for the 2024 that it let me have the most sweetest kids that I have to teach to.
The last thing that I did after my work is I celebrated also my new year with my cousins, we have lots of fun and we probably are drunk that night but it’s ok and safe since we’re at our place. A small table with real people really hits the spot of happiness and trust, it’s really a great thing when you have so many cousins that you’re close with. A beautiful New Year so far, no drama no negative energy and bad things that happened, just a pure laughter and happiness and a very beautiful bond that we have.
New Year makes people connect with each other, it helps you forget the problems for once and embrace the beautiful year with a new beginning and refresh your sorrows and sadness from the past. A new year with the people you love will always be the greatest gift of all.
