Saturday party Burgers I made in healthy and 100% vegan version

    Hello, friends, and community greetings, the first time, I made some burgers using all vegan ingredients and homemade buns not exactly buns but mini rolls. We have some other way to call these patties which are put in the buns. We called it Dirade in my region. But here I had seen it (when I was helping My friend in her restaurant) they are fatty, meaty and look like some junk food. I have thought many times about making a healthy version of this junk food which is good for everybody by taste as well as good healthy. All ingredients are plant-based, even the buns I made at home.

    Ingredients:

    1/2 cabbage 500 grams
    1 carrot
    1 beetroot
    1/2 red onion
    3 cloves of garlic
    3 cm ginger.
    1/2 cup soya chunk
    1/2 cup boiled/cooked kidney beans
    handful fresh coriander
    2 tbsp gram flour
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    2 tbsp oil
    I was thinking about using Aubergine but I changed my mind.

    Spices
    1/2 tsp turmeric
    1 tsp coriander powder
    1/2 tsp garam masala
    1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1.5 tsp salt

    Chop cabbage
    grate carrot
    grate beetroot

    finely chop onion
    finely chop Ginger and garlic
    Chop coriander.

    In a bowl mix all chopped and grated vegetables including soya mince.

    Add chopped onion, garlic ginger, and coriander.

    Add all spices.

    Add gram flour.

    Crush beans.

    and add to the mixture.

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

    Consistency like this can make balls easily.

    Make burger patties according to choice big or small.
    I made them smaller.

    Adding water to the cornstarch makes a slurry that coats the spoon

    Dipping patty one by one in the slurry place them in the pan that is oiled and heated.

    Place these patties in the skillet/pan and cook them thoroughly from both sides.on medium heat, flipping them carefully.

    The patties are ready.
    we prepare our burgers with homemade dinner rolls.

    4 dinner rolls
    1 tomato
    rings of pickled onion
    burgers
    iceberg lettuce
    tomato ketchup
    mustard

    Cut the rolls in halves.

    spread tomato ketchup on the four halves.
    cut a tomato into slices.

    Make the appropriate sizes of lettuce.

    place the salad leaf on the tomato ketchup.
    then place patty

    Some mustard according to taste.

    Pickled onion.

    If you want put more mustard or ketchup on the top.
    I just put the other half of the roll and packed it.
