🦉 The European greenfinch or simply the greenfinch (Chloris chloris)

Despite the fact that these birds are very noticeable in the spring, I have great difficulty in taking a photo of them. The birds themselves are sedentary and winter, but they prefer not to be in my region due to severe frosts. Therefore, they return only in early spring. Moreover, sometimes they arrive even earlier than the chaffinches.
As I said, in the spring they are very noticeable due to their recognizable trills and buzzing. Males sing actively, but they do not do it demonstratively, so you have to be patient to see them. It is also not easy to lure a bird to the sound; they are quite shy.
