The long break for newbies shortlisted for the Newbie Initiative is over and as such,there's need to continue, for we to end what we started. Working with the theme, Efficiency of Hive Tools for the Newbie initiative task six (6), there are cogent questions I will be answering in bid to make an entry for this week's task.
List out tools that you know that can be used to track and monitor information about your Hive account. Tell us about them and what they are used for.
1• Hivebuzz : One of the few people that had given me the moral support to yearn to make more progress on Hive is hivebuzz. Hivebuzz is an automatic response account tracker that,makes comment on user's post after crossing a milestone. It indicate the number of users badges, HP, up votes accrued on a post while it set another target for the user to make further growth on the platform.
Giveaway Tips : You can mute getting notification from hivebuzz. Well,I will understand if you do because, it's kinda put one's hope up for nothing a times.
2• Hivestat : I checked this site yesterday and I was whoa(ed) and I wished I checked earlier than yesterday. Hive Stat is an analytical tool,it gives an insight on the overall performance and growth of users with the aid of graphical charts, numerical data's etc.
Giveaway Tips: Hive stat shows the breakdowns of all activities on your account. Do yourself some good to check it out.
3• Hivetask : Here's the least talk about. Hivetask does more than providing information about a user or tracking of account. There are varieties of hive tools incorporated on Hivetask.
Check out your profile information on Hivestats and explain the different stats shown about your account on the site.
(a) Effective HP and Hive Power : For every posts that accrued upvotes,you gain these two HBD (Hive backed dollars $1 worth of hive) and HP ( Hive power) and the more you gain more HP the more influence you have on hive, an ensample of such influence is, curation of post.
(b) ****Received and Sent Delegation*** :- Delegation is bestowing of hive power for content influence by another account. Delegation can be sent as well as received. A look at the screenshot will tell you I received nor delegated my hive power to another account.
Note: Delegated hive power doesn't simply change the owner of the hive power also,hive power can be revoked by the delegator in 5 days.
(c) Power Down Amount : This is simply the conversion of HP to HBD. I haven't powered down so it's 0.
(d) Current Vote Value : It's the total weight of vote in Hive.
(e) Resource Credit (RC) : This shows the limit of data I can use on the blockchain.
(f) Reputation,Followers and Following : Reputation is the number a user has earned through his or her activities on the block chain. Followers, the number of accounts that follows my account. Following, the numbers of account I follow.
(g) Posts : This is the summation of all "parent"and "non- parent" posts have made so far on hive and that's 292 overall.
Find the lazy-panda curation trail and follow it. Customise the trail according to weight, method, and wait time as desired. If you choose, enable the trail and share screenshots on the process.
Step 1 : Open your browser and input hive.vote thereafter,log in using your hivesigner then click on Authorize to proceed to the next step.
Step 2 : Click on curation trail thereafter, search for Lazy panda click on follow so as to gain access to customize it weight, method and time desired using settings.
Step 3 : Click on save to save the changes made.
Configure and set up F.R.I.D.A.Y. to give you notifications. Provide a step-by-step explanation with screenshots.
What is F.R.I.D.A.Y.? Is an advanced Discord bot that notifies users of recent happenings with the block chain and any actions on user's account.
To configure and set up F.R.I.D.A.Y. for notifications, first join their discord channel here
Accept the invite,click on getting started.
Write the command (/ register hive username) in any of the discord channel to start monitoring your account.
