The merit of true Christmas is not about the food we eat. It is the thanksgiving celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ. We knew that He was born to save and redeem our sins. We knew that Virgin Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit. In that way, people must give thanks and be grateful. If we have no enough to celebrate, just make it simple but full of love and affection.
Sad to see that people posting good food , a lot of expensive food on the table not thinking the feelings of the people those who can't effort buying even the cheapest kind. Social media is adding insult to an injuries of the poor people. But this is the reality of this new era. Life changing lifestyle and not only the climate had changed.
At home, we had just a simple dinner with all the members of the family. Before our meal, we gave thanks to God and rendered prayer before the first spoon of food taken to my mouth.
I have three sons,all married and I have 4 grandchildren. The youngest son has no child. His wife is also a nurse but a dialysis patient. She was pregnant before but she gave birthday during incomplete months of the baby. It came out dead.That's life as long as they love each other, I am happy.
One of my daughter-in-law was not here because her mom was alone at home. All of her children are working abroad.
The eldest grandchild was with her mom and the youngest one was with my son.
Being together, its the second year I celebrated with my family after two decade away from home. Thanks God , we are complete family. I hope everything will be okay with the Power of Jesus Christ,our Savior!
