Sympathy
Sympathy or friendliness is that affinity or affective inclination that exists between two or more people. It is part of the personality, being something proper to a person's way of being and character, which makes him/her pleasant to others.
Generally, sympathy is mutual and arises spontaneously. However, it is possible that, in the course of time, getting to know another person better allows a sympathy to arise that did not exist in the first place.
Thus, those who tend to generate this type of affection are known as friendly or sympathetic people, while those who, on the contrary, encourage distance or disaffection, are called unfriendly.
This pair of photos belonging to my personal archive were taken last year during the presidential elections in Venezuela, a day that after all that has happened so far, meant a huge stain in the national history, difficult to erase.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
La simpatía es aquella afinidad o inclinación afectiva que existe entre dos o más personas. Forma parte de la personalidad, tratándose de algo propio de la forma de ser y del carácter de una persona, que lo convierte en alguien agradable para los demás.
Generalmente, la simpatía es mutua y nace de manera espontánea. Sin embargo, es posible que, con el transcurso del tiempo, el hecho de conocer más a otra persona permita que nazca una simpatía que, en principio, no existía.
Así, que a quienes suelen generar este tipo de afecto, se les conoce como personas simpáticas, mientras que aquellas, que por el contrario, fomentan la distancia o desafección, se les dice antipáticas.
Este par de fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé el año pasado durante la realización de las elecciones presidenciales en Venezuela, un día que luego de todo lo sucedido hasta el momento, significó una enorme mancha en la historia nacional, difícil de borrar.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
