Rey Mysterio is the superstar I love in world wrestling entertainment. He has been one of the best wrestlers ever, and now he is about to rewrite the history books.
Now at 49 years old, he still enjoys doing what he does best, being only one victory away from hitting a thousand wins in WWE.
When I was young, I witnessed the great Rey Mysterio performing live.
His agility and high flying moves were awesome that always left me impressed. I am grown up now but till date, i can’t get enough of him anymore. It’s like dreaming come true to witness him reaching this mark.
Last weekend in Eerie during a WWE live event, Rey encountered Angel and Berto while teamed with Dragon Lee.
Of course they emerged winners which increased respect for Rey having total WWE victories of nine hundred ninety-nine until then Only one more win, and he will be a thousand-time winner.
That moment is something that I cannot wait for.
Rey isn’t just a great wrestler; he is a great person too. In an interview with The MMA Hour, Rey spoke about still being involved in wrestling at his age.
He appreciates the chance to keep doing what he loves and it shows.
Rey has had several astonishing moments under Triple H’s rule. One of the most notable was when he partnered with Andrade against his own son, Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar in WrestleMania XL.
They won which went on adding one more victory for Rey’s outstanding record.
What is even more amazing is that this was not the first time Rey had beaten his son at WrestleMania.
At WrestleMania 39 last year, after months of feud between them, Rey defeated Dominik in a singles match. It is incredible to watch the bond shared by father-son both within and without the ring.
For any wrestler, crossing the 1000 win mark in WWE is an achievement hard to equal. But for Rey Mysterio, it’s a whole different level of specialness. He has been entertaining his fans for decades and I can see that he is never going to stop.
I am so anxious to see Rey get his 1000th victory. This will be a big thing, and all through this journey, I will be there cheering him right from start to finish.
To me, Rey Mysterio isn’t just a wrestling icon but also my hero whom I am so proud of him. Here we come with 1000 more wins!
