I love fajitas. I could eat fajitas every day. They are fast, easy to cook and very delicious and healthy.
The reason I used pitas instead of regular tortillas is because tortillas are not a very healthy choice since the ingredients are pretty bad. I could make my own tortillas but I just didn't have enough time and I actually like the pitas.
Pitas can be a bit challenging sometimes, while trying to open them up, especially when they are cold, so I opened the pitas after warming them up first on a komal(special tortilla pan).
But before warming up the pitas, I cooked some beef slices on the pan with some garlic, salt, black pepper, chile, and paprika.
While the meat was done cooking, I cut 2 onions into slices and then cooked it on the pan with some avocado oil and some salt.
I added the onion to the meat and then I cooked 3 sliced peppers on the pan with some salt and then added the peppers to the meat and onion.
I warmed the tortillas up and filled them up with the meat mix.
I added some cream and salsa into the pita and it's time to eat. Yum, yum.
I will definitely make these more often.
