Hello everyone! I just want to share my first Daily Blog!
The weather is beautiful today, and the sun shines brightly after a few days of rain.
This is an excellent time to clean the entire house as well as address other tasks that I may have overlooked due to my hectic schedule.
I finally finished the laundry and dried our clothing.
Every day, there are so many things to think about as a mother that need to be done around the house, yet they cannot all be completed in a single day.
So, today, I decided to clean and vacuum the dining chairs one by one because they are filthy and stained. I've completed my other tasks, so I have time for these now.
I started cleaning, first dusting the chair with the vacuum cleaner. I am not sure if I am cleaning the chair correctly because, to be honest, washing upholstered furniture is quite difficult. Second, I made the cleaning solution by combining dishwashing liquid, vinegar, and lukewarm water.
and I began by spraying the chair with a soap mixture and brushing firmly in the most unclean spots, then sprayed it with water from the vacuum and sucked the water back into the vacuum to avoid over-soaking the foam. I know it wasn't really cleaned because I didn't have the right upholstery cleaning gear, but at least the filth was reduced. Finally, I used a blower on the chair and placed it outside to sunbathe for a time.
It's been two years since we purchased these chairs, and I rarely have time to clean them because there are so many regular chores that must be completed first.
It's exhausting to clean just one chair due of the filth, and keep in mind that I have a pretty mischievous kid, so household objects will eventually get dirty. Because of the difficulty in getting rid of stains, cleaning just one chair takes three hours.
I considered getting it deep cleaned once, but when I enquired, it turned out to be very expensive—over PHP 1,000 per chair. As a thrifty mother, I chose not to go through with it and instead cleaned everything up eventually on my own.
Aside from washing the chairs, I also planned to clean the dirty stuffed toys scattered outside the house, as well as the toys that my mischievous toddler throws around.
We frequently don't recognize how fatigued our bodies are in the daily repetitious cycle of housework and child care, as if we just want to rest for the entire day, but that is not feasible because being a mother does not allow for rest.
We have been living in Cebu, a lovely and peaceful province, because we were able to build our own home here, and there is enough of land available for further construction. We also wish to live a calm life away from the noise of the city.
There are many banana trees outside our house. I don't want to cut it down because it's pleasant to have something to pick when it produces fruit, and it's also quite pricey on the market.
On weekdays, it's just me and my toddler at home, so I have to handle everything. But when my husband gets home, he helps me out, even if it's simply with simple things like sweeping and dusting the house.
Every weekend, my husband and I have a lot of activities planned. While I am cooking or doing the laundry, he is caring for our child and working on reports for his profession.
We occasionally intend to go for a walk or to the market to purchase groceries and household items.
We treat our daughter some ice cream and we take her to the playground so that he can play with other children on occasion because he is the only one with us and our neighbors are far away, which makes things boring. My child's father and I are the only ones who play with her.
Nevertheless despite all of the chores, we must work hard and maintain the house clean; even if we do it gradually, they will be accomplished eventually.
Thank you for hanging out and reading my daily blog.
See you next time. 😘
