@luvbnamome didn’t work this morning so I drove to a larger swap meet in the next county, and walked through the water and mud for a few old hand files.
An early 1980s Murray bmx was for sale in the same city on offerup and I made a 60% offer and it was accepted.
The guy I purchased the frame from has a small house full of tires, grips and bicycles.
After driving home, I started breaking down some old fencing and ended up making a platform for an old angle iron dolly.
The baby climbed on and off the dolly maybe 8 times.
We had serious flooding after a 30 minute downpour. Our gutter is clean but we have a slight sag over the front door, and water was pouring over.
I also made a temporary table top out of fencing.
The vintage Murray frame is not bad for being 40 years old.
I was able to ride the usual 7.5 mile course under dry skies in the dark.
More rain is coming.
