One thing that has slowly faded away through time that I would like to bring back is SPENDING OF COINS IN MY COUNTRY, this currency had faded away even before most of us were born, and I believe children of this generation would wonder what happened in those years of spending coins.
I happened to have a little experience with spending coins in my country during those years, the currency had value then and things were so cheap that we could buy so many things with 1kobo and still have some change left but this modern age has changed everything totally.
I remember when I visited my grandparents in their village and my grandfather gave me one Kobo I was extremely happy as if I won lottery, I knew the money had so much value that year and I gave it to my mother immediately which she promised to buy me so many things with the coin at the end of the year, but in this generation, if you give a child the such currency now he or she will look at you as if something is wrong with you, it is very hard to see coin in this generation except for our parents who kept it as a memory and a story to tell to their grandchildren.
In other countries, they do spend coins and it adds value to their currency, I wish I knew the government that eradicated the spending of coins In my country, traveling to other countries and seeing the way they value their coins always made me bitter about our currency, I wish coin come back to the country where you can have your change after buying things, instead of dashing the mall attendant, getting coin as a change from mall could accumulate to something reasonable at the end of the year.
For most of us watching K-drama movies, we see how Korean people value coins in their country, they use their coins in so many ways to have fun for example putting a coin inside a claw machine in other to have access to play the game of bringing out a teddy bear from the claw machine and they are always happy doing this with their coins.
Having claw machines in my country where children will have access to use coins and have fun will never be a bad idea, even if we do not go back to the era of spending coins as part of our currency we need to have a way of having fun with our coins, if you acquire many coins as change from a shopping mall there should be a way to exchange it to proper currency or we can be using a coin to have access to most of our tourist centers or children's playground.
If I have the opportunity to be in government, bringing back coins as part of our currency in the country will be a thing of joy to me, people should have access to spend it or can be in exchange for buying goods.
