Euro 2024; who takes the crown?

Euro 2024 is just around the corner; it's going to be a great and exciting tournament. So many teams are gearing up for the tournament. I can't wait for the tournament to kick off, as I feel that this year's tournament will be full of surprises.

This year might be the year of the underdogs. Some of the European powerhouses are not looking like they will go all the way.

I will be looking at the teams I feel might all the way and also the underdogs that might shock everyone.

For the teams that might go all the way,

Germany, for me, has a young team, but their build up to this tournament has not been one to be proud of. They can't write off the Germans, and with the tournament being hosted in Germany, some momentum will be with them. I think people might not see them as a threat, but I feel they might go all the way and lift the trophy.

England is another team that is always favorites to win any tournament. Last Euro, they came close. On paper, England has a strong team. But will they go all the way? I feel Southgate can get the best out of his forwards. England might finally lay their hands on a trophy after many years. England has all the talents; all they need is cohesion.

Spain is another team that is filled with talented players. I give them a 50 percent chance of lifting the trophy. If the Spanish players can turn up during the tournament, then no team can stop them.

The Netherlands have a good squad, but I have some doubts about them. Looking at their group, one will know that it's going to be a very difficult target to scale through the group. Apart from Austria, France and Poland are strong opponents. If they make it out of this group, the Dutch team will go a long way.

The French team is star-studded, and everyone feels they might lift the trophy. For me, if everything clicks, I think the French will breeze past any opponent. I feel all that is needed is discipline, and the trophy will be heading back to Paris.

For Belgium, it's a simple thing: they need to forget all the hype around the team and play as a unit. In previous tournaments, Belgium always ran out of energy and motivation at the important stage. I believe if they can stay focused, then they might lift the trophy.

Two teams are looking like they might upset the big guns: Scotland and Ukraine. These two teams have been a nut to crack recently, and if everyone is fit and committed, they might spring some surprises in this tournament.

This is just my opinion, and I strongly believe that one of the aforementioned teams will take this trophy home. The 14th of June is just around the corner, and I can't wait to see the tournament kickoff.
