Hello friends!!

Today I propose this drawing to you, in which I came up with the idea of joining two of the Holozing characters: one of the Healer girls and Miu.

Although I love animals very much, I always considered myself a "dog person". Cats seemed funny to me, but that was it. However, that changed a few months ago when my mom adopted a kitten that was born in the backyard of my house, the son of a stray cat. We spayed her as soon as we could and also tried to adopt her, but she couldn't get used to being in just one house, so she spends her time from backyard to backyard, always quite close, so it allows us to look after her health. However, her kitten stayed with us.

At first, he was very, very grumpy, and as a kitten, he would hiss at us hahaha, but with lots of cuddles (and food!) he's practically glued to my mom's lap. He has become a member of the family.

I'm telling you this to explain why I decided to combine Miu with one of the healer girls, specifically the one with light powers.

Here's a fanfic about these characters. I must clarify that, of course, I made up the healer's name. Astra is derived from the word "astrum", which means "star" in Latin, and evokes light.

Astra walked once again through the forest. Alone. She was tired of being scolded by the teachers for her inability to concentrate the light and unleash a lightning bolt. The rest of the students laughed at her and called her stupid and other insults. Sometimes, in a few moments of self-pity, she believed them.

Was there really something wrong with her?!

Then she felt truly foolish for thinking that way. That was her loop. As was her path, the same one she always followed after failing one of the level pass tests to become a soldier of the Light.
She kicked a stone that hit a tree and heard a small whimper.

Crouched to the side of the tree, there was a small gray creature, staring at her with tremendous green eyes. Despite being tiny and looking very cute, its expression wasn't very friendly, rather fierce, but it still seemed in pain. One of its paws had been caught in a magical trap, which surrounded the school to protect students from unwanted entries of some monsters. Astra approached cautiously, but the creature only hurt itself more trying to escape.

Determined to help it, without to get closer, she supposed that the best way out would be to try to do something with her magic. Afraid of making a mistake again, she closed his eyes and concentrated as much as possible. She visualized in her mind a large ball of light from which rays emanated, and thought that she was taking one of those rays and that it gently filled the space around the creature, freeing it from the trap and healing its wound. She wanted with all her heart for the creature to be saved.

She opened her eyes with concern, slowly, and saw that there was no trace of the trap. Her heart skipped a beat at the thought that she had annihilated the little creature. Suddenly she felt something moving between her legs, and when she looked down, there it was. It curled around her left leg and then went to her right. Astra cautiously took it in her arms and the creature looked her in the eyes as if it could read her soul.

What was that being? Where had it come from?

Focused on her thoughts, she was startled when the creature let go of her embrace and jumped into the grass, turned around, and took several steps away from Astra in a proud attitude. It looked at her again in the eyes and a sound came out of its mouth: Miu, and suddenly disappeared.

Astra suddenly felt immense joy and a wave of warmth flooded her. At that moment, she understood that she had discovered the secret to controlling her magic: the sincere desire to help others.
She was not a soldier, she was a healer.

The drawing process went through several phases. First, I worked in Adobe Illustrator to create the line drawing, and then I worked on the rest in Photoshop. When I got the result I wanted, I wanted to take it to a version with a Pixar cartoon style, so I used Stylar to do this. Of course, no matter how much I used the drawing I made as the base image, in the end, I always had to make some modifications in Photoshop to the image generated with Artificial Intelligence.

Hoy les propongo este dibujo, en el que se me ocurrió unir a dos de los personajes de Holozing: una de las chicas Healer y a Miu.

Aunque me gustan muchísimo los animales, siempre me consideré una "persona de perros". Los gatos me parecían graciosos, pero hasta ahí. Sin embargo, eso cambió hace unos meses cuando mi mamá adoptó un gatito que nació en el patio de mi casa, hijo de una gata callejera. A ella la esterilizamos en cuanto se pudo y también la intentamos adoptar, pero no se acostumbró a estar en una sola casa, así que se la pasa de patio en patio, siempre bastante cerca, así que nos permite velar por su salud. Sin embargo su gatito, si se quedo con nosotros.

Al principio era muy muy arisco y de pequeño nos bufaba jjjj, pero a base de cariñitos (y comida!) está que no sale de regazo de mi mamá. Se ha convertido en miembro de la familia.

Esto te lo comento para explicarte porque decidí unir a Miu con una de las chicas healers, la de la luz específicamente.

Astra caminaba una vez más por el bosque. Sola. Estaba cansada de que los profesores la regañaran por su incapacidad de concentrar la luz y lanzar un rayo. El resto de los alumnos se reía de ella y la llamaban tonta y otras barbaridades. A veces, unas pocas en las se permitía autocompadecerse les creía.

Tendría algún problema realmente?!

Luego se sentía verdaderamente tonta por pensar así. Ese era su bucle. Como aquel era su camino, el mismo que siempre recorría luego de fracasar alguna de las pruebas de pase de nivel para ser soldado de la Luz.
Pateó una piedra que chocó contra un árbol y sintió un pequeño quejido.

Agazapado a un costado del árbol, había una pequeña criatura gris, que la miraba con unos tremendos ojazos verdes. A pesar de ser diminuto y verse muy tierno, su expresión no era muy amable, parecía más bien fiero, pero igual se le notaba adolorido. Una de sus patas había quedado atrapada en una trampa mágica, las que rodeaban la escuela para proteger a los estudiantes de entradas indeseadas de algunos monstruos. Astra se acercó con cuidado, pero la criatura solo se hacia más daño al intentar tratar de escapar.

Decidida a ayudarlo, sin tratar de acercarse, supuso que la mejor salida sería intentar hacer algo con su magia. Con temor a volver a equivocarse, cerró los ojos y trató de buscar la mayor concentración posible. Visualizó en su mente una gran bola de luz de la cual se extendían rayos y pensó en que tomaba uno de esos rayos y que este suavemente llenaba el espacio alrededor de la criatura liberándolo de la trampa y sanando su herida. Quería con toda su alma que la criatura se salvara.

Abrió los ojos con preocupación, poco a poco y vio que no había rastro de la trampa. Su corazón se saltó un latido al pensar que había aniquilado a la pequeña criatura. De pronto sintió que algo se movía entres sus piernas y al bajar la vista allí lo vio. Se enroscaba alrededor de su pierna izquierda y luego iba hacia su derecha. Astra lo tomó en brazos con cautela y la criatura la miró a los ojos como si pudiera leerle el alma.

Qué era ese ser? De donde había salido?

Concentrada en sus pensamiento se sobresaltó cuando la criatura se soltó de su abrazo y brincó hacia la yerba, se giró y avanzó varios pasos para alejarse de Astra en actitud orgullosa. La miró nuevamente a los ojos y un único sonido salió de su boca: MIU y desapareció.

Astra sitió de pronto una inmensa alegría y como una oleada de calidez la invadió. En ese momento, comprendió que había descubierto el secreto para controlar su magia: el deseo sincero de ayudar a los demás.
Ella no era un soldado, era una sanadora.

El proceso de dibujo, pues pasó por varias fases. Primero trabajé en Adobe Illustrator para crear el dibujo a l8ineas y luego el resto lo trabajé en Photoshop. Cuando obtuve el resultado que quería, quise llevarlo a una versión con un estilo de dibujo animado de Pixar, así que me auxilie de Stylar para hacer esto.

Por supuesto, por más que le hubiera puesto como imagen de base el dibujo que hice, al final siempre tuve que hacerle algunas modificaciones en Photoshop a la imagen generada con Inteligencia artificial.
