Penny, a potbelly Pig lived in a small farm with a few other animals who were more beautiful. Penny didn't mind his shape, he considered himself lovable even when others saw him differently. Penny loved to spend his days lounging in the sun and snuffling for berries. He didn't allow the judgment of others bothered him, and often said to himself "This is the best of me" each time other animals ridiculed him.
The farmer observed his animals and decided to enter penny into the local pet show.
"You're already a loser before the game begins" the peacock said to him wiggling his tail then opened up her wings in admiration of herself. Penny didn't care, he was excited, for the very first time he was given an avenue to show up his impressive pot belly and charming personality. They arrived at the show and soon Penny's nerve began to get the better of him as he saw the other animals dressed to perfection. He lay on the dried grasses as he watched the other animals display their beauty, worried that he wouldn't measure up.
As soon as it was Penny's turn, his fear melted away like ice. He knew it was his only chance to show the other animals the beauty they never saw in him. He oinked proudly, showing off his curly tail and wiggling ears. He danced around in a circle allowing his belly to make rhythmical movements. The judges couldn't resist his charm as they watched him keenly and soon he was declared the winner. The other animals bow in shame as they watch him being crowned.
From that day on, Penny became the star of the farm and this helped other animals to start accepting their differences and imperfect bodies. Penny continued to live life to the fullest, teaching other animals to see their uniqueness when others don't.
